This is a single-cask bottling, exclusively for Switzerland, with an outturn of 288 bottles.
In the quiet of the Glen Guin valley, the people at Glengoyne know that patience is rewarded. For every minute other whiskies spend in their stills, Glengoyne spends three. Only then is the spirit filled into casks that have themselves been prepared over a period of six years. This is the Glengoyne way.
Colour: dark amber
Nose: subtle aromas of oak, dried fruit and caramelised apple compote
Palate: powerful, with well-balanced woody aromas and notes of apple, vanilla and Glengoyne’s signature spices
Finish: exceptionally long, spicy, rounded and slightly sweet
Cask: American oak Sherry hogshead
