The Glengoyne distillate spends three times longer in the distillery equipment than other whiskies, creating a character that is distinctly light, smooth, and fruity. The casks are prepared for six years before being filled; the natural golden color alone reflects decades of maturation in wood—nothing else is added. Nose: Coconut oil, honey, lemon zest, dried oak.
Palate: Caramelized apples, spices, cinnamon, ginger, orange, shortbread.
Finish: Balanced, with a hint of sherry and oak.
