In the part West of the island of Arran is a field of peat called "Machrie Moor". It is there that, according to the legend, the giant Fingal attached his favorite dog, Bran, to a raised stone. This tourbée version, raised in barrels of bourbon of the single malt of Arran baptized Machrie Moor, celebrate this legend. A malt which does not miss a dog! Blocked in 46 %, this 7th edition aged entirely in old barrels of bourbons captures perfectly the wild beauty of the landscapes of the island and frees the legend of Machrie Moor.
Nose: dried herbs, smoked by peat, followed by a point of vanilla and by tropical fruits.
Taste: citrus fruits, smoke, peat and pineapple.
Final: long. Citrus fruits and smoke of peat.
